Yes it would as the semi final is to be played that weekend and as a result the match between the two sides would be postponed. However Chelsea have to get their first, likewise Manchester United.

England play Israel, which will also mean extra games for the international players, and travel.

 
which begs the eternal question why play internationals during the season and not during the summer when we the fans would be more interested in them as we loose the will to live due to lack of football, and key players are risking picking up a knock when the seasons at its most critical?

oh thats right the FA is run by a load of morons...

 
Play internaitonals in the Summer and the top players would burn out too quickly during the domestic season. We pay our money to see players hopefully play at their best as many times as possible - if we had all year round football this would not happen nearly enough times.

 
asking some players to play throughout the year, every year, will never happen. You have more chance of seeing plastic pitches.........

oh, wait a minute.
