anyone bothered by liverscum signing torres?

[The Moos]

Ah, one thing, he is very bad at shooting penalties!!

Yeah!! he's starting to do it!! First penalty and first fail !

Talking about penalties. Henry missed one for Barcelona but managed to score on the rebound.

[callista]

Hell anyone can miss a penalty even our players.

Still it did scream "irony" that their two new signings were the ones that failed to score.

Seems to be a lot of crap penalty taking going around at the moment....Feyenoord game for instance.

[Brian M]

Nope. They'd have more goals if they used the Robot instead of him up front.

I don't rate him. He's been hyped for many years now, but before newly rich Liverpool no big club wanted to splash huge cash on him and that I think says enough.

Although not worth that kind of money he's still a good player. We'll see.

i think torres will do good for liverpool. don't think he will end up being one of the best players in the premiership this season but do think he will do quite well. certainly an improvement over kuyt (his biggest strength is his work rate and that says a lot) and bellamy (a donkey).

don't know about voronin but he's been scoring a lot in the friendlies.

i think torres will do good for liverpool.

Yeah, like Moro did... My prediction - bad injury before Boxing Day and out for the rest OT season...
