No big deal. Probably just a slight strain which would take him, I don't know, a bit less than 3 years to recover from?

 
We do, but aren't we playing our 3rd choice keeper at the moment (and for the next month or so)?

We are but who do you expect us to sign? Any keeper we sign knows full well that in a month or so they will be 3rd choice again and this massively reduces the quality of who would be available.

All of you who mock Hilario I ask you to point to a third choice keeper at any club who is of signficantly better quality.

All valid.. on hindsight I think I was several stellas in and being drawn into some negative thought-waves!

 
I think Roman should just off Real ?20m, a take it or leave it deal.

I don't think he would cost anything like that. I would imagine he doesn't have a huge amount of time left on his contract at Real and I wouldn't say that half a season (in which he has picked up a couple of minor injuries) playing necessarily shows he is far stronger now. The injury history would still bring the price down.

I would think about ?12m would secure him and for me that would be a steal.

Well it it has been reported that shoulf Boro decide to sign Woodgate at the end of the season (and Woodgate agree to move to Boro) the fee has been agreed at ?6m - now that is good value!

 
silly real- he's fit again, and they get rid... really not a great move on their part. when cannavaro goes they'll have to spend another ?20m on someone no doubt.
