Brazil v Russia at The Bridge

I've watched Neymar play 3 games;

Against Barca (for Santos)

and against England and Russia

in all 3 games he was selfish and quite obviously trying to show off to the world how good he is, whether he can play better when he's not trying so hard to show off I don't know because I don't get a chance to watch the Brazilian league.

But yes, those 3 games are 3 of his biggest, because they're some of the few chances the wider footballing world has to watch him against top class opponents (if you can call the England/Russia backlines top class), and on both occasions he has failed.
Maybe, i dont know. Dont get me wrong im not sticking up for him at all, i couldnt care less.

I just dont think these friendlies are a way to judge him. They certainly arent any of the biggest games he has played in - what about the Olympics, the Copa America , the Libertadores, the Confederations Cup ? All these are bigger and certainly more watched in the 'wider footballing world' and more prestigous than a few friendlies on Brazils endless world tour. Whether or not he delivered in these i dont know though!?

He looks good to me, just take a look at these

, but Messi/Kaka 97 level ? The doubts are out and we shall see.

Neymar reminds me of how Ronaldo was before he joined United - incredibly talented, massive potential but mostly wasted. If a good manager can knock that out of him, he'll be one of the best around IMO.
