Expected starting 11 in City opener?

[Hessleboink]

Obviously getting ahead of ourselves here, but it will be interesting to see how we develop in the coming weeks. As of now, who are you expecting to see start against City - and in which system?

Sanchez

Chillwell

Colwill

Fofana

James

Caicedo

Enzo

KDH

Nkunku

Jackson

Palmer

Complete guess. Left Fofana/Chukwuemeka etc. out for now as we don't know what condition they'll be in after such long lay offs but think they can both start if fit enough. I think Madueke will be a favourite under Maresca but don't see how he starts with Palmer in the team. Have to wait and see.

Assuming the Copa/Euro finalists don't arrive in peak fitness.

Gusto Fofana Tosin Colwill

Lavia

Caicedo    KDH

Madueke  Nkunku Jackson

James is suspended. And assuming Fofana and Lavia still unavailable I would expect something like:

Sanchez

Gusto  Tosin   Colwill  Cucurella

Enzo   Caicedo   Dewsbury

Palmer   Nkuku   Sterling

[dermott]

 Hermansen

Faes  Vestergaard  Choudhury  Justin

Ndidi  Winks  Pereira

Mavididi  Fatawu

Vardy

Maresca forgets to update his iPad.
