Gustavo Poyet is the most underrated Chelsea player from the pre-Abramovich period. He was strong, skilled and determined. Unfortunately, there are very few video clips of this legend available. I ask those fans with extensive footage, necessarry skills and time to make a beautiful tribute to this guy!

I think it's not that people don't think he was a good player when he was at Chelsea, but many hate him for going to Spurs.

Oh dear this is not going to end well...

Great player for chelsea no doubt, but...well you know where I am going with this.

Only Durie or Townsend come close.

I think the bloke is my most hated ex Chelsea player out there and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I was there that night. The w**ker.

i was going to go into the reasons i dislike him, but then i saw you had said that and felt it summed it up for me.

This bloke's gotta be on a wind-up!

I'll admit that Poyet was a very good player for Chelsea, but he blotted his copybook for me when he started screaming and shouting at young Jon Harley whenever he made a mistake during matches, totally destroying the youngsters' confidence.

Then he went to WHL, and the rest is history - BJD is spot on.

ps - if you think there are very few video clips of Poyet available, then you're either not looking hard enough or having a laugh. Try looking for clips of Ian Hutchinson or Alan Hudson, now that's what I call 'very few video clips available', and they are TRUE Chelsea legends, unlike Judas Poyet.

I was glad when he went to Leeds. Scum in charge of scum.

We should ignore this prat, and concentrate on a real Chelsea midfield legend from that period and cheer on Roberto Di Matteo!

I refuse to be drawn on that f**king mercenary, cock kissing, ........................................................

John Bumstead also underated but much loved. Reliable and totally Chelsea. Unsung hero.

I do remember Poyet being "welcomed to english football by that total effing t*sser Roy Keane. I am sure his jaw got broken.

Gus was a great player for Chelsea. Then he left, kissed a cock, and blew his reputation with most Chelsea supporters including me. Traitor? Hell yeah! Still you can't deny the part Gus played in some great cup runs from '97 - 2000.

First ever game I went to was the 1-0 win over Leeds, Poyet with the goal, when we first qualified for the Champions League, think it was either 1998 or 1999, great memory

for me, but have to agree, why go to Spuds of all places?

I (stupidly) read in the papers the other day, that Drogba is a target for Spurs in the summer, can you imagine the sh*t storm that

would go down if that happened?

Not that much of a sh*tstorm imo. Not since he acted like a twat and got sent off at Moscow.

I don't really have a problem with him going to the north london scum, his Chelsea career was on the decline and he and his family wanted to stay in London, what I do have a problem with was the cock kissing! That made him and c**t

I love Drogba. He still has couple of good years left. The time to sell is soon while he still fit and they can get a good price for him. I would hate to see him go but renewing the team is important and Chelsea has enough strikers right now.

Al

Let's not forget, as been pointed out, but worth reiterating... he not only kissed the c*ck.... he did it front of us, with relish ! ...I was there.. unforgivable !
