No real surprise there, he has undoubtedly been the best player in the world the past year. Congratulations to him.

I would be amazed if the kind of money requires to sign Kaka was made available to Alex ferguson - I could only see a deal going through if Ronaldo went in the other direction

 
He deserves it. Kaka's been great and he's one heck of a player. He also seems like a nice guy. Fair play and very little diving (if any) and he's actually playing in Italy.

Would like to see him in a better team though.

Wish he wasn't quite as much of a God-squadder, but he is a sublime player, and if his love of Jesus causes him to play in the positive and 'clean' way he does, then fair play.

Maybe Barton, Eboue, Savage and Co shouls swing by the church more often....

Right! I don't have a lot of time for religious institutions myself, but sending Barton et al. their way, seems a bit harsh :-)

 
not sure why that link isn't working, but it is worth doing a cut and paste job in your browser and watching that highlight. It is the highlight reel of mainly Kaka's skill in the world Club Championship. The final was AC Milan against Argentine side Boca Juniors

It would be an absolute dream if we were to have him and huntelaar in the same team. Also thikn Sheva might even benefit from him
