Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Ok i'll give it some more thought... no one mentioned even comes close to Rosenior's ability to impact the squad in a less significant way. The sideshow he provided was truly exceptional and had almost nothing to do with football.

Im sure in the right environment he would be fine but i just dont know what that would be.

There could possibly be someone pre 1960's who was worse, but i doubt it.

The sideshow you mention was down to the players like Enzo and Cucurella sabotaging us because their Daddy left the club. Traitors.

The sideshow i actually was thinking of included but was not limited to his interaction with the players, non playing staff eg directors and medical staff, with the media. His methods were odd he didnt get the David Brent label for no reason. He didnt add anything positive and he was embarrassingly out of his depth. It wasnt his fault but he was the job holder. It was probably Marescas fault if he had not departed mid season this fella might not have ever joined the club.

I'm kinda with @All Barco no bite on this one. Like him, I detested Maresca that much that I was so happy to see the back of him and ready to welcome his replacement, whoever it was.

Unfortunately, it was Rosenior and was an appointment which just sums up our current hierarchy. Clueless. They probably thought "no-one will expect Rosenior to do well, so if by some chance he does manage to pull this off, we will go down as legends".

It's why I was so happy with the Alonso appointment and am loathe to be too critical of some of our early, somewhat iffy performances (certainly Hull & Brentford). Yes, we look a bit shambolic defensively but on the whole the football is a whole lot better and Alonso is a massive upgrade on both LR and Maresca.

Last season has to go down as one of our worst in a very long time but onwards and upwards..........................
