Wasn't on MOTD but i was baffled by what Walton was saying on BT to justify the decisions:
1) Foul on Abraham. He was saying that the ball went backwards and thus a new phase of attacking play started.
This is nonsense, Abraham was fouled, Norwich built their attack and scored. At no point between Abraham being fouled and the ball being in our net did we touch the ball, so how can a new phase of play have started? Regardless of the ball going backwards or not, why cant the play be called back to an earlier foul. A foul is a foul, regardless of when it happens.
2) Pen on Azpi. He was saying it wasn't a high enough threshold to be reviewed.
Again, nonsense. A foul in the box is a foul and should result in a penalty, regardless of the severity of the foul.
3) Stamp on Mount. I can't remember what he said here but this was a straight red all day long.
4) Zouma disallowed goal. This is the only one i thought was a 50-50 decision, and more often than not keepers get the benefit of the doubt.
VAR either needs to be used for 100% of the big decisions, or not at all. Refs cant pick and choose when they want to use it. I thought it was telling that Joe Cole and Crouchy both disagreed with the big decisions, as well as Jake Humphries who is a massive Norwich fan.
