I don't think we need them, the squad is deep enough and we have Mia trying to break into the team! Seems a lot of money to splash out on a whim!

Then again, if Jessie wants to move on and at the same price, it's pretty much a trade.

I don't think Ramirez gets much time when Sam is back!

If she had played that second leg vs Barca we would have gone through, regardless of the bent poser ref. 

I get the impression she is the women's teams Drogba.

Injury update: Mayra RamirezChelsea can confirm Mayra Ramirez has undergone surgery on a hamstring injury sustained during our friendly against AC Milan last weekend.

The striker returned to Chelsea this summer after reaching the Women's Copa America final with Colombia, and she was selected to start in last weekend's friendly against the Italian side.

Unfortunately, Mayra had to be replaced in the 34th minute after sustaining an injury during the match that has required surgery.

She will now begin a period of rehabilitation with the support of our medical team and be sidelined for a period of time.
