Sincere Condolences to Dave Sexton,s family. One of the games good guys and a much respected and admired man . As a Chelsea fan in the late sixties That whole Sexton, Osgood, Bonetti, Hollins, Webb, Hutchinson era was a wonderful time , Dave Sexton is the reason I became a Chelsea fan , I only hope we can pay him a better tribute than that farce Yesterday ...

RIP Dave Sexton, thanks for everything.

[Charles Ryder]

From everything I've read about him, he was very much a man ahead of his time in terms of his approach to the game.

[Jezz]

Absolute legend for this club. Dave won't be forgotten considering he was the manager that led us to FA Cup success in 1970 against Leeds.

RIP

Alan Hudson still says him and Ossie were sold to help pay for the east stand. Prob never know the facts but Dave Sexton was still one of our greatest and will always be part of our history
