the way I look at it is what if they pay 25 mill for Hargreaves Fergie is looking like he's getting ripped off as much as Jose in the transfer market.

I like to compare what we paid for Essien to their Carrick or Hargreaves signings

I really want this to happen, hargreaves some how made a name for him self in the world cup because he ran around a lot while the better players around him played absolutely shocking!!

On closer inspection people would have noticed he gave away a stupid amount of fouls, his first touch let him down more often than not and his decision making was often hesitant , and he was never where he should be!!

His standard is probably some where around the bouro mark!!

And 25 mill for this player, Brilliant!!

 
what is funny is that if it does happen, the Crapu fans will be singing the praises again, and won't have anything to say how we get players in

A lot of money to pay for an ordinary / average player . But hey , Fergie knows best .

Hhmmmmm essien ?24 million (guessed) or Carrick ?14 milllion neither have exactly set the premiership on fire this season.

Hargreaves quoted between ?20 - ?25 million (could be newspaper b******s) have to agree at that price overated.

 
You mean Essien who is in the running along with Drogba and Ronaldo to be player of the year so far - yeh he has had an invisible start to the season

Essien and Drogba have clearly been Chelsea's best two players this seaosn so far and many Chelsea fans, despite Drogba's goals, have Essien as our best player.

 
Theres no way Fergie will end up paying 25million pounds for Hargreaves. I am pretty certain it will end up being something closer to 15million. Still more than his probably worth, but not this 25 million talk.

We don't need him, do we? Give some of our youngsters a chance before we go spending stupid money again. Probably B. Munich leaking this rumour to bump up the transfer fee, I hope ManYoo have to cough up ?25m for him but heaven forbid they get accused of 'buying' their success.

I read somewhere that we were planning a deal. Bayern would take Robben in exchange for Hargreaves or else we'll pay ?15 million.

I guess this was just a silly rumour though.
