Aaron Anselmino

Meh. Blueco signing. Chelsea named for media purposes. Doubt he will ever play for Chelsea.

Like all of these signings. They are bigging it up about Chelsea but it's nothing to do with us. This guy will go the same way as countless others, sold for profit, if they are lucky, but probably for a small loss at some point.

Rhetorical questions, but anyone knows is he any good, or is he  good in FM by 2026?
I do dabble in a bit of football manager here and then, sometimes it has crossed mind that the sporting directors have just simmed the game 10 years later and signed all the good players worth the most money because the players we've signed are all on that list 😅.

I take it you sold him at 2035 for pure profits exceeding 100M 🙂

Appears he is staying. Fofana/Badiashile's injuries may be worse than expected.

Aaron Anselmino returns to Chelsea as he will join Enzo Maresca's squad with immediate effect from Boca Juniors. Argentine centre back travels to London at the end of this week, ready to join training at Cobham from next week. Decision Confirmed. @FabrizioRomano

Hopefully he’s better and can be a good squad player.

Hopefully we’ve struck gold and he becomes Colwill’s long term partner.

We badly need a top class defender.

I'm not sure how this became news. Isn't the argentina league over? Of course he will return.

Probably have a loan in europe lined up cause I wouldn't waste 6 months of his development staying at the club.

Will reportedly begin training at Cobham next week. He is a right sided CB.

Maybe he is sticking around as Fofana/Badiashile replacement.

Time to move the thread @Mod?

You're right. Romano milking the story.

2nd phase of the Argentine league ended and given he's our player he arrived at Cobham presumably to line up his loan move to Strasbourg.

Given the struggles at the back might be nice to see what he could do, ditto Josh.

Argentina media say we paid 1mill to break the year long loan agreement and bring him back in January. Either he is sticking around or being used to help us get a player, maybe Santos, back from Strasbourg.

He will arrive at Cobham on Friday, and begin training with the first team on Monday, after their Sunday day off.
