Mikel has just missed a penalty, still cant score a goal bless him
Why on earth did they let him take a penalty? Were the other players in the squad missing both legs?

Making Mikel take a penalty is like asking a small midget without any muscles man mark Drogba when the opposition has a corner.

Zambia's keeper scored a penalty to equalise.

Only caught the South Africa game from the first round of group games.

Excited to see Didi, first time watching him (and Kalou) since Munich  ...hopefully he gets a run out today

NIgeria have been very poor, just watching them on ITV4 now.

On the verge of going out by the ridiculous "fair play" rule , .i.e who has the least amount of yellow cards when teams are tied on goal difference go through, pretty silly seeing as Nigeria could lose out on qualification by having 2 more yellow cards than Zambia.

Bright side is Mikel and Moses have been the brightest players for Nigeria imo, and the sooner they get back here the better. I thought Nigeria would be a better team than this, pretty poor showing though.

1-0 Moses - looked nervous but placed it

Beautiful free kick in from Mikel there.

Wow, Moses just won a second penalty - the keeper charged out and took him out, getting a second yellow, with Ethiopia having made all three subs.

And he puts it away again.

It was kind of similar to a certain penalty Drogba put away in the not to distant past.

Looks like Moses doesn't wanna come back to us lads ='(

Still happy for the lad.

Moses could win 50 penalties in this competition with the way these defenders/goalkeepers tackle.

The majority of games so far have been dreadful. Togo vs Tunisia yesterday has to be game of the tournament so far. Not the greatest quality of football or refereeing but plenty of drama.

Ivory Coast-Nigeria at the moment. Lot of current and ex-Chelsea playing. Moses' been best on the park so far after 33mins. Great freekicks and lot of pace and one fierce shot as well. Great player. Mikel is Mikel. Playing it safe.

Then we have the old Sala with brazilian flavor. You know what his shirt says? "Kalunho" or Kalounho but ridiculous anywhoo.

And then there is King Drogba who looks like he can score at any moment. Done nothing so far but two an tight offside and one handball. Without the foul both could have been in goal.

Nigeria take the lead just before half time, I wish they'd f**k off and lose so Moses can come back.

With Rafa still being our manager I actually would love to see Nigeria go the distance. ACN is just anoter excuse for Rafa and I want him out ASAP.

Great strike from Emenike. Ivory Coast stars really haven't shown anything.

Jonty, hey brother keep it cool. You can't wish my country to lose to Moses can come back.

Btw, I remember you all thought that Moses wasn't Chelsea's standard. How wrong he's proven you all.

I want my country to go as far as possible in this competition and if that means Moses staying put for National assignment, so be it!

Apart from Yaya Toure i don't really see any real class in that team ( and even he isn't having a great season ) even Drogba can no longer be considered a great player anymore. I would love him to win this competition though.
