Another Winger! - Noni Madueke

So am i right thinking the media had us under scrutiny last week, in that we might not be able to register new players for the champions league.

Now weve flogged a couple of players and all is good again. Sharp cookies this lot i dont know how we manage to keep up with these guys.

Unbelievable fee for a winger that blows hot occasionally, but mostly luke warm or cold.

Quite what Arsenal are thinking here is beyond me, but never mind eh ! LOL

Superb piece of business by the club, he was ok now and then but nowhere near consistent enough.
Just Jackson & Stirling to offload and this will have been a blinding window.

All the pace, directness and flair married with none of the decision-making ability or consistency.

I have nothing against him personally, but I think we've done pretty well out of this deal.

 
Noni to Arsenal. I quite liked him at times. He wasn't the worst. But he wasn’t great. Ok. A lot of money for a sub. I think he will do better for them than Sterling. I am not going to miss him tbh.

He got a pretty bad welcoming to the Bridge last night. He got booed heavily when he came on and every time he touched the ball, and chants of "Chelsea reject, Chelsea reject!".

 
Got karma yesterday. I am sure he did not bank on getting all the flack after the game, but good after he made a jibe at us when Arsenal won the league. It is strange he did not take a penalty yesterday, considering he has stepped up for us from the spot when it matters before. Does anyone remember us beating Palace a few seasons ago and Palmer was suspended and we got a last minute penalty, and he stepped up and scored. So very strange he did not want to step up yesterday. Right in your face Madueke. No doubt had he scored in that shootout and they won, he would have made another jibe at us.

 
He hasn't changed. Little end product and then not enough bottle to be one of the first 5 penalty takers. So glad he doesn't have a CL winners medal.

 
Can't really work out his mentality. You've seen your positional rival put in a world-class stinker in a big game, knowing he's probably just one more hamstring tear from drifting into obscurity. Came on, did decently well, you'd think that you'd use that momentum to step up when it counts. Madueke had an opportunity to make a name for himself but completely threw it away.
