Boubarky Soumare not linked but replacement for Kante

It seems clear that Kante's injury problems are here to stay and that therefore Chelsea need to strengthen. In the system we play now the pivots are the arguably the most important spots.

We have Jorginho, Kante and Kova and Billy and maybe Ross Barkley. But really for a top champions league side Billy has a lot to prove and likely will need a season away from the club.  So  I reckon we need to replace Kante and I'm thinking Soumare, or maybe Milinkovic Savic?

Soumare is maybe a bit unproven at this level?

Seem to be linked to Tchouameni from Monaco. Ive never seen him play, but just won young player of the year in France, very highly rated, moreso than Soumare from all accounts. Looks decent on Youtube, plenty of nice passes, some difficult ones aswell, wins the ball, covers the ground, physically dominant, and looks like he has a decent strike aswell. Hopefully catch an u21 game in a few weeks for a closer inspection. Hopefully not another Bakayoko although he looks like a real player to be honest.
