So, back to the Brit awards .

I sat down in my already pre booked armchair , ready for a sh*t load of good TV .

I had the option of either watching the Brits or Tuesday nights ''Life on Mars''

''Lets watch the Brits '' ok i know its a tacky pre arranged pile of sh*te but , come on , its the Brit awards and ya never know, Chubawamba might just sneak in the back door.

Then shock horror . I saw who was presenting it . Holy mother of god .

They chose the worlds most untalented, unfunny and irritating w***er whos ego far outweighs his talent .

Im sorry , but if you put a loaded gun to my head i still wouldnt watch this tosser .

You know i actually dont mind Russell Brand, i feel i should hate him, but i just dont for some reason.

I think at last year's GQ Awards, Bob Geldof walked up to the podium to present someone an award.

Brand had just been on, and made some crude remark about shagging Rod Stewart's daughter. (Rod was actually IN THE AUDIENCE), and Bob just uttered the words;

''Russell Brand. What a c**t.''

You know i actually dont mind Russell Brand, i feel i should hate him, but i just dont for some reason.

I feel the same way - I actually think he could be funnier than he is. I think the very nature of a lot of the shows he does makes him dumb down his material for a Big Brother calibre audience. When I have seen him on chat shows or some of the alternative quiz shows he has been a lot more amusing and clever.

Didn't see the Brits so no idea what his banter was like although I hear there have been some complaints.
