Chelsea Graffiti

In the late 80s, someone quite close to me redecorated the toilets outside Barcas trophy room with Chelsea graffiti.  This person feels a right prat now.

And if any Catalan OB are reading this, I never went to Barcelona, never went to the Camp Nou and never went near the trophy room.

Great topic, growing up around Bromley and Orpington I saw quite a lot of graffiti along the lines of CFC kill WHU or MFC Bushwackers etc but the one that stands out in my mind was by Orpington station in classic white spray paint and it said evocatively 'CHELSEA NORTH STAND IS ALIVE AND WELL' which to a young lad in the early 80s got the mind racing. So much nicer than all the internet posturing you read these days.

The notth stand is alive and well. You just can't argue with that. Got to say I do miss the old grafitti. Call me old fashioned but Finnestone walks on water is streets ahead of that tagging s.hite.

Where was that grafitti CB? Talking of which just remembered you used to see a lot of HAIR BEAR CFC stuff daubed on walls round Tooting in the 70s. Ps Dyou still get over Carshalton Athletic? My mate Masseys manager there; keep meaning to nip over- Id best not hang around because theyres stuff in the fridge with a longer shelf life than their managers

Nah mate i went down there once last season v Enfield, Carshalton are a shambles all thanks to the owner, i wish any manager the best of luck working for him, he's banned supporters from home games, changed the kit colours & badge, they've gone from a pen kick to promotion about 4/5 years ago to relegation, gates are dwindling as well, the future looks bleak all the time he's in charge.

Me & a mate are thinking about going to their away game in Guernsey, more for doing an obscure ground & weekend away than anything else.

Nice to see the old Porsche down the King's Road.

Is that some old sort of Flying Squad stake out photo?

In the second series of Citizen Smith sprayed on a wall somewhere in Tooting, standing proud is Chelsea kill spurs.

Is that west ham graffiti still there in the Lots road? Well it read west Sham, the S perfectly placed in front of ham. A quick thinking Chelsea supporter turned it into a work of art. :good2:
