Chelsea vs Brentford (PL) Sun 15th Dec 24 19:00 GMT

It’ll be a big result for our top 4 chances if we can beat Brentford tomorrow given today’s results!

We need to beat Brentford to break the curse. No title talk yet
Yeah and after the glorious chance we blew with a sh*t display at OT I am worried, and have been nervous about this game all week.

Even you are starting to believe a bit now LOL

Huge result. How many managers different managers have we had that tried and failed to beat Brentford in the league.

Only Tuchel managed it I think, and that was at their place. Our record at the Bridge stinks.

Doesn’t look good does it.

Bigger test than Spurs.
What I said before Spurs, in all seriousness it is.

Every Chelsea manager beats Spurs don't they?

1 goal for, 8 against in 3 home matches against them.

Huge match and I will start to believe Maresca may have something special about him IF he can break this curse they have over us and win this game.

Don't care if it is a 90th minute winner from a Palmer pen or the ref messes up in our favour that gets the job done. Just win.

Well Arsenal and Liverpool have given us a small window of opportunity which we have tended to fluff in recent times, and you just know that Bournemouth is going to score because they can, so ambition is critical, and optimism needs to be playing at centre forward tomorrow......

A nail biting 5 -1 to us. 😉

Crucially important is how Maresca sets us up to deal with Mbeumo and Wissa.

Both are having very good seasons. We know all about sides double or triple marking Palmer. Not saying we go that far but we must not allow them space, or freedom in and around the box.

Maresca has to have a plan for Mbeumo and Wissa. If we are to win, that is key.

Gonna be tough with Nkuku, Felix, Mudryk, lavia missing training and Neto suspended. It's imperative we start strong and score early goals.  The longer it is a tied game the more the atmosphere in the bridge will go dark.

Sanchez

Gusto colwilll badiashale cucu

Caicedo. Enzo

Madueke palmer sancho

Jackson

Expecting giuiu and george to come on if legs are tired

Wow did not know that, all our other attacking options injured at the same time, bar Neto? And Lavia out as well?

Bench will be really light then, no game changers.

Fk, didn't know about lavia or felix. Neto is a loss but add those 2 as well!

The rest need to step up tmrw...

I think Lavia being out means we know what the line up will be, and how we will set up tactically. Which also means so does Thomas Frank.

Without the ball:

Sanchez

Gusto

Colwill

Badiashile

Cucurella

Madueke

Caicedo

Enzo

Sancho

Palmer

Jackson

With the ball, Cucu between Caicedo and pushing on to give us a 6th attacker like vs Spurs:

Sanchez

Gusto

Colwill

Badiashile

Caciedo

Cucurella

Madueke

Palmer

Enzo

Sancho

Jackson

Without the options of Neto, Nkunku, Felix or Mudryk we lack options to freshen up our pressing players if they tire out late on.

Frank praised us the other day, mind games for me.

What a chance to get close to Liverpool yet first a hard match ahead against the Bees.

How the hell did we get here though!

We had what seemed a fk load of options and attacking players to choose from.

Neto...i get, suspended.

When did felix and lavia get injured though? I know lavia got a knock to the head, i saw the cut. But hamstring thingy was a precaution only.

Felix was doing soo well in his last match. The difference in his pressing between his last match and every other match was light and day!

Nkunku?

I feel like I've missed a few days somewhere...lol

What do you mean no Nkunku or Mudryk?

They may not play the full 90 but 20-30minutes is more than doable.

@The Don Antoniosaid on the last page Felix, Nkunku, Mudryk and lavia all missed training today, which suggests they might well be unavailable for the game.

Not sure what Nkunkus issue is, Mudryk has had some sort of infection that has seen him miss two weeks already, Lavia depends on his hamstring, Matesca has already said no risks will be taken.

Felix had some sort of muscle issue just before the team jetted off for Kazakhstan.

I want to do the angry and sad emoji together.

Ugh, I'm going to bed.

But cheers bud, I didn't know about the others. The team can't afford fk ups or cheap mistakes and hopefully the rest step up.
