Our third-place finish in the WSL last season means we need to navigate a qualifying tie to make it to the league phase of Europe's elite competition. Nine two-legged ties will decide the final berths in this season's UEFA Women's Champions League.

How does the Women's Champions League third qualifying round draw work?The 11 teams who advanced from the second qualifying round final join the seven teams - including us - who enter automatically. There will be four ties in the Champions Path and five in the League Path.
Who can Chelsea play in the Women's Champions League third qualifying round draw?UEFA are yet to confirm the full draw procedure, but Chelsea are due to be drawn against one of the five unseeded teams in the League Path of the draw. They are: Eintracht Frankfurt, St Polten, A**x, Real Sociedad and Inter Milan. The seeded teams are due to be: Chelsea, Wolfsburg, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus.
How does the Women's Champions League third qualifying round draw work?The first team drawn in each pairing will play the first leg at home. Teams from the same association cannot meet each other.
The winners of the nine ties will join the nine clubs directly qualified for the league phase. The nine defeated teams will transfer to the UEFA Women's Europa Cup second qualifying round.
When will the Women's Champions League third qualifying round games be played?The first leg is scheduled to be played on 26 August, with the return game pencilled in for 2 September.

Tuesday morning’s draw gave the Blues a home match against Spanish side Real Sociedad.
This will take place on Wednesday 26 August with kick-off at 6:45pm. The venue will be AFC Wimbledon’s Cherry Red Records Stadium, which is also the venue for CFCW’s home domestic cup ties.
As well as being the first opportunity to see the team play in this stadium, the match is the first competitive outing of the season and the earliest chance for home supporters to see our new signings in action.
Ticket sales for this match will be as follows:
Phase 1 – Early BirdPriority early-bird tickets will be on sale to season ticket holders and Bridge Pass holders from 10am on Friday 14 August to 2pm on Friday 14 August.
Early-bird tickets will be on sale from 2pm on Friday 14 August.
Phase 2 – General SaleGeneral sale tickets will be on sale from 10am on Tuesday 18 August.
Phase 3 – Last ChanceLast chance to buy tickets will be on sale from 10am on Monday 24 August.
Supporters can purchase up to 20 tickets per transaction.
Tickets will be sold online only and are for Chelsea supporters only. They will initially be sold in the East Stand and South Stand for this fixture.

All persons under the age of 16 will be required to attend with, and sit next to, a person aged 18 years of age or over.
Application process for supporters with access needsSupporters who require accessible tickets can submit an application form available by clicking here during the selling period. Alternatively, you can call our Access Team on 0371 811 2012 or 0044 207 915 1950 (international callers) to reserve tickets and request further information. Personal assistant tickets can only be allocated using this process.

Following a successful pilot throughout the Women's Super League season last year, we can confirm that the regulations allowing supporters to enjoy their drinks from the comfort of their seats while watching the on-pitch action, should they wish to do so, will now extend to our Women's Champions League games.
At CFCW matches at AFC Wimbledon, for supporters who would prefer to sit in an alcohol-free area, Block 121 is designated as the alcohol-free zone. Any supporter who has already purchased a ticket and wishes to relocate to this area should please contact the Ticketing team at [email protected]

With the Blues preparing for tomorrow evening's UEFA Champions League qualifying round first leg against Real Sociedad – which can be viewed live on the Chelsea Official App and website – neither Sonia Bompastor nor her players attended the event.
Yet that did not stop the performances of a trio of our players last season from being recognised by their fellow professionals.
Hannah Hampton secured the goalkeeper spot in the Team of the Year, having kept eight clean sheets in 18 league appearances during the previous campaign.
Fellow Blue and England international Lauren James was also handed a place in the side, having been voted by fans as our Player of the Season last year.
Our No.10 scored several sublime goals last term, netting five times in 14 domestic games, and also went past the 100-appearance marker in blue.

Sonia Bompastor's side completed the job in the third qualifying round of the Women's Champions League with a 1-0 win away at Real Sociedad on Wednesday evening, thanks to Keira Walsh's second-half goal.
That gave us a 6-2 victory over the Spaniards on aggregate and put our name in the hat for the next stage of the competition.

The 18 participating teams will be split into three pots based on their individual club coefficient ranking, with Chelsea among the top seeds in Pot 1. Each team will then be drawn to play two opponents from each of the three pots, playing one match against a team from each pot at home and one away.
In principle, teams from the same association cannot be drawn against each other, and each team may play against a maximum of two opponents from any other one association, although UEFA reserves the right to adapt this rule in case of deadlock situations or any other relevant constraints.
Which teams are in the league phase?There are 18 teams competing at this stage of the competition. The Blues will face two sides from each of the three pots below, but clubs from the same association are kept apart at this stage.
It means we cannot be paired with another English club in the league phase.
