England : Southgate out!

Amazing how players like Mount and Havertz can score worldies but just can't score for us....

It's not one extreme or the other, there's middle ground between glory and what Southgate is serving up.

Furthermore if we have little chance of winning silverware all the more reason to make the games more fun atleast, Southgate's sh*t on a stick can be only be justified if it comes with hard silver, and he f**ked up his one big chance with some of the most mindblowing decision making I've ever seen.

To be fair though who in their right minds thought it was a good idea to put Gareth Southgate in charge of selecting penalty takers?!

I mean he cost England one European Championship as a player, of course he did the same as a manager.

England NEVER win against Italy Val. Since the turn of the century we have only won one game against them, (a friendly 10 years ago), and have not beaten them in a major competition since 1977.

It doesn't matter who the players or managers are. Tottenham win more games at Stamford Bridge than England do against Italy.

We have had a succession of England managers that at one time or another in their tenure have had under their wing the brightest stars in English football and in the world and yet all of them managed to fcuk it up.   On paper some of the England teams since I've been watching centuries ago should have won the World Cup a few times yet we crumble because of bad managers and horrible tactics / bad team selections.  Unless by some miracle Southgate has a visit from God and he starts  picking players in form rather than his pets we might stand a chance of getting out of the group stages...otherwise the team will be home long before Christmas.

Why do you want to pick in form player over player who you know can do the job for you 😅😅

Let's say Rashford is in form and Kane isn't. Picking Rashford over Kane mean you have to change the way you attack. Nobody will do this just before a big tournament.
