I'd still take Robben back in a heart beat. Been getting a bit of stick in Germany recently too so his future might lie elsewhere.

Robbens goals,so f**king classy, what a player he still is,could imagine him linking with Torres,Cahills were good as well lol(og)

just what we've been missing since he left, get sneijder and robben and we;d win the league next year... providing they keep fit!

f**k sake Robben is the definition of World Class. Why did we sell him again? Was Jose doing too much coke?

we got a good deal for robben considering he usually spent half a season injured, but we have never replaced him...pace, skill, great finish...one of the things we have lacked from out wide in recent years...doubt he will want to come back, but it was good to see him in such good form...bet Just doesn't agree though...

Funny how everything has worked out. How many on here were having a giant sook here over the summer when we were linked with him saying he's too old ,he's not Chelsea quality? Lots that's how many.

As it has turned out, our midfield has been dire this season, and his movement off the ball and quality circulation could have done wonders for us. Now the man is the England captain, and he is a great choice.

Well done. Also well done to Stuart Pearce for not picking Stevie Me, and going with the only man capable of filling the boots of JT as skipper.
Six years ago Parker wasn't good enough to get into our midfield. That he is now is a mark of our decline rather than any major improvement in him. Sure he's better than Meireles, but we should be aiming for a better calibre player. Still, it was good to see him get the captaincy after the nauseating Gerrard w*nkfest of the last few days.

Tonight's match didn't tell us much we didn't already know. Other than a good spell in the second half England weren't that good, we aren't better than Holland and we'll be lucky to reach the quarters at the Euros. It's hard to believe Robben is still only 28. He looks about 50! And for all his faults, we (Chelsea and England) have no player to compare to him when he's on form.

How bad is Sturridge's injury?
According to posts on Chelsea chat it may be a broken toe or even metatarsal. Hope thats not the case. Probably best to wait until official statement from the club though.

Chelsea current and ex were the stars of the show tonight. I got the feeling that the Dutch did not get out of second gear...

From and England point of view. Lots of positives. I hope we stick with this side or similar most passion we have shown in years
