Mostly on the left of their 3 man defence, which for them mean plenty of freedom to bomb forward. Is he playing in defence or midfield? I could Google this but... good to keep the discussion alive!
Thanks, mate. Sounds promising. Our squad looks quite well set up for an attacking 3-4-3.Mostly on the left of their 3 man defence, which for them mean plenty of freedom to bomb forward.
He ended up being the one chosen to replace the injured O'Connell.
Not an easy loan move for a kid, going to the worse team in the league, Brewster has struggled there too. A another loan move would be likely, hopefully in a better team this time. I still like Ampadu, playing 3 at the back gives him a better chance of getting into our team. So, a bit of a hit and miss season for Ethan - but do we think there is a place for him on our squad next year?
He is not at the level where he commands a first team place, so the question is, would it be better to have him around as a utility player who can fill in and play a role wherever needed in defence or midfield, or is it better to loan again in the hope he will kick on?
I agreeHe's still young enough for me to believe he has a future here.
Always thought we had a good player on our hands with him. Just needs to keep accumulating game time wherever he is. I think he'll be loaned again next season.
He'll benefit from another loan (and - hopefully - a good Euros with Wales this summer), but I also think he'd be a good option to provide much-needed CM strength in depth, along with Gilmour. The problem is, like Billy, he just wouldn't play enough.I agree
