Following our ex`s...

We need this man involved with the first team in some way. The way he talks about the standards expected and not letting them drop... we are so far away from that right now it's scary.

I thought his comments on Pochettino (from about 1:30:30) were interesting as well, and probably quite an eye opener for 99% of the posters on the Pochettino thread :-)

Great podcast - thanks for the link !

It's quite staggering that no-one has been prepared to give JT a go as a manager, even at League One level. On face value he seems to have all the attributes you'd need ... I really hope one day he gets the chance to be involved at first team level with us.

He was the defensive coach at Villa and they conceded the most goals in the league during his tenure IIRC.

I see Bournemouth came back from 3-0 down to beat Luton 4-3.

Barkley scores a strikers goal and Solanke scores his first in 4 matches with a very clever finish, goals 3 & 4.

Bournemouth made two subs at half time so maybe were resting players.

Being better AFTER a halftime teamtalk? What kind of wizadry is this....

Pulisic goal @ 4:00

RLC goal @  5:00

And if you want to see what a real striker looks like Leao @ 7:00

I see Herr Werner is still dodging the back of the net with great success.

Petr Cech played in a friendly on Saturday for Wessex League Premier Division club Andover New Street.

You think he could slot in as a left winger? Asking for a friend, an Argentinian friend.

Can't help but think how good both Hall and Maatsen would have been in this inverted full back role that Cucurella is now playing. Absolutely travesty that both are likely to be sold in the summer, can only hope Newcastle or Dortmund don't take up the option.
