Following our Nearest & Dearest Rivals 2019/20

Ah sh*t man I'm soz ? the honour is all yours if you want it. Tbh I just fired one up because we were still using last seasons thread.

Once the new fixtures are out I think a new one should start.

Soz if I've pissed you of man!
You know what, I admire how heartfelt this is x

No issue from me, I was just being lighthearted.

Been confirm that the San Siro is going to be demolished ahead of the 2022 season.

One of the most iconic stadiums in world football.

Interestingly the 80k stadiums replacement which will be built right next door will be a 60k stadium... Perhaps both Inter and AC Milan acknowledging the low attendances in Serie A?

Word is that Mourinho and Moyes (hahahaa) are in the frame for the Toon job now that Benitez has run off.

Either way, it will be an amusing season for those barcodes!

Jose would only take it if the takeover goes through. He's like Pep, he doesn't work with small budgets.

I would not be the least bit surprised if Jose ends up in that job after the club are sold.

Is Neymar the most overrated player in world football?

He's being linked with a move back to Barca having spent two injury hit years at PSG and played less than 50 league matches for them.

But he moved to PSG for €222m and it's rumoured it will cost the same again to move back to Barca bringing his total transfer fees up to around the half a billion mark and that's before wages.

For a player so injury prone is he really worth it?

No, he's not worth it. It's not just the injury problems either, he's somebody that causes problems off the field and falls out with his team mates too. He's an asshole basically, I still can't believe he didn't get a longer ban for punching that fan in the face a few months back.

I think Neymar's nationality might cause people to overrate him a bit. When I was growing up the best player in Brazil often also meant the best player in the world. Neymar may be Brazil's 'star' player at the moment but that doesn't mean nearly as much as it used to.

So the closer to the 30th of June we get without announcing a manager the less and less sleep I will be getting
28th of June Log

The nights are long, restless. Constantly waking up in a cold sweat. Why do they delay? Do they enjoy it when I suffer? What are they waiting for.

AC Milan banned form Europe next season because of FFP
I love how Milan released a statement saying they are withdrawing from it ha ha...

Is Man City next?
Well that would be interesting, I think of AC Milan can get banned and certainly think Manchester city can, granted they have some clever accounts at City let's see if they can either outsmart Uefa or pay more money than AC Milan to not get banned.

Wan-Bissaka has gone to United, Zaha seems to be on his way this season. The Palace fans at work are spiralling in to depression. Without some shrewd work in the transfer market I think they’ll go down this season.

Palace seem to have acquired a few useful players though that luck can always run out.

I'm interested to see where Zaha will end up, his latest outburst in the media about wanting to play for Arsenal should seal his fate at Palace yet stranger things have happened.

Can’t see him moving though; no one is paying £80m for Zaha even in this crazy market. Utd have a sell on clause think it’s 20% or 25% that Palace wanted them to drop as a prerequisite for Wan Bissaka moving but with no success. He signed a 5yr contract last year so he might be there for a while.
