Fringe players

Casadei and KK to date.

The better question would be asking how many players we're stuck with that we won't be able to shift for a profit.
Think Casadei was a break even - 15m Euros in and out. A small book profit given amortisation, but overall break even (assuming none or few of the adds on were hit)

14.86M purchase

13M sale (as per transfermarkt)

Amortisation is great for the accountancy nerds, quite simply we wasted two years of his and our own time.

Do you think he was fast because of the single dose meldonium on international duty?
Single dose?

Do you seriously believe that it was a single dose and not a full blown strategy and life style choice?

bless.

You think he wouldn't have been caught before that international break for a drug that stays in your system for so long?

It also has no correlation to someone's speed.

Mudryck is a junkie. He will get a ban of 4 years. It is very sweet the way that you think he is innocent.

I've not said he's innocent, I just said him being a junkie isn't relevant to your insinuation that that's the only reason he's fast. Google is free, it takes 20 seconds to google the drug.

Mudryck was sh1t at football. We wasted 70 million quid on him. The biggest waste of money in the history of our football club.

Hi mate, good to hear from you again. Meldonium stays in your body for months and would show up on any drugs test.

Glad i could clear that up for you 👍

Yeah, the high-detectability and it staying in the body a long time (weeks to months) is a bad combination, and make it a terrible choice for a "performance enhancing" drug.

The gulf between what people think they know (and happily state as facts) and what they actually know is often mind boggling on here.

I’d imagine the club will have a fairly comprehensive insurance policy that might provide some cover but I think we will look to sue the player for breach of contract if and when his ban and result of appeal are known.
We should sue the Ukraine national football association. Perhaps we can get back some of the £2 billion which Ukraine never got in the first place.

Guy juices, it goes on in sports and players have been caught, including a winger who used to play for us. Doesnt matter if it was to speed up injury recovery or to improve his performances, it was found in his system. Professional sports stars literally are paid to be professional and avoid these things at all costs.

Regardless of the wrongs of taking performance enhancing drugs, its been found in a players system. He has been banned and is awaiting a decision from governing bodies on how long that ban will be.

70 million down the toilet with this gent, a shame, as I hoped he would eventually turn out to be a useful player for us.

he's cheated himself, hes cheated the club we all support and he has cheated us fans, mistakenly ingested or not.

I dont really care what the guy's excuse is, his career really should be over with us.

Err....can you just be clear how many months? Asking for a friend who is delaying his return to the Pig & Parrot Sunday league team.

Misha ‘single dose’ Mudryck. Yeah, he was a drug taker by accident and he only ever took a single dose. . . by accident and he didn’t mean to do it and Misha was tricked into taking drugs. . .tricked into taking drugs by very naughty men.

Well, Yes, Lukaku cost us £97.5 million - but we did get some loan money for him and then we sold him for £30 million. So Misha actually surpasses Romelu in terms of money wasted. Down the toilet (probably the toilet from trainspotting).
