What's new

Fulham vs Chelsea (PL) Monday 24th August 20:00 GMT

A decent keeper and we're going in 2-0 up and cruising. I guess plan is for penders to play Thursday. No clangers and you'd hope he plays the next league game

Nah, Colwill off for me. He's got red card written all over him, and is way off the pace as well.

Yep I would take him off has looked very suspect.

Good energy and very fluid in attack, really should have scored at least 1 more.

Look a bit dodgy at the back, maybe down to having the goalkeeper behind them/new system but I do feel like most of those defenders are a bit too error prone.

On the ball, best I have seen in years from us, better than anything we saw under Maresca since Palmer scored 4 against Brighton. Off the ball, an absolute trainwreck, which I expected with that line up. The midfield is terrible, James will never be a natural midfielder and Lavia doesn't have good positioning off the ball. Colwill, Hato and Sanchez have been like frightened kids too and will be our downfall unless they sort themselves out.

2-1 up, but still could go either way. We need another 2 because I don't trust the team to keep Fulham out.

I’m mentally shattered already and it’s only half time in our first game of the season!

DONT WORRY UNLESS WE CHANGE OUR DEFENSE IN 1 MONTH WE WILL BE SAYING ....CANT WATCH THIS ANYMORE

Colwill needs to come off he’s a guaranteed red card waiting to happen

Biggest positives for me

Lacroix looks like a competent centre half which is a huge upgrade, Palmer is looking lively at last

Negatives

Sanchez and Gusto. Colwill abit off it too.

I am going to blame Sanchez as he shouldn’t get beat at his near post but the ball took a wicked bobble just before his hands was about to save it.

We are not pressing in unison and getting dragged out of position too easy.

Always thought that Colwill thinks he's better than he actually is.

McPhee has shown more creativity in 45 mins than that other complete fraud showed in his whole time here.

Good half of football

We’re lively going forward

Caceido shaped hole in midfield

Still defensively poor…not helped by the bookings on the Left side of the team

Opponents still not getting booked when they rightfully should, new season same sh*t

Palmer has looked to have his mojo back, needs a goal now for confidence

Entertaining football.. about bloody time.

Barring the gormless moron we've been ok.

Brilliant on the attack, but with the gormless one behind the defence we look a bit shakey still.

Pleased so far, negative passing looks to be gone.
