Hot In Arizona

[Londoner1953]

Hello,

I've been blue for over 40 years. My first visit to The Bridge cost me 2/6d and I enjoyed the view from the shed. I'm from London but home is now is Scottsdale, Arizona in the USA.

Half a crown to go to The Bridge! Those were the days! Welcome Londoner. How long have you been over in Arizona?

[geezer]

Half a crown to watch a football match eh? Christ it costs over ten bob to buy a paper these days (or 6 bob to read toilet paper by the name of the Sun)

Welcome

Welcome Mate, there are a few ex-pats out here. I'm currently living in WA state....very warm now, but it'll be 3 foot of snow before you know it!

I've been living in The United States since 1980, and in Arizona for the past 23 years. I get back home quite often to see family friends and, of course, Chelsea. I see that you're in France?

Welcome to the Shedend

[lauren]

welcome. I am an expat living in hotter Florida - 3 types of weather here, hot hotter and hottest. Right now it's a mere 95F this time of year. Mind you I have become a wimp when the temps go down into the 60s for a few days usually in January.

Sorry, I've been a bit slow replying to this. Yes, I moved to France nearly five years ago. I live in a quiet corner of Brittany, near the coast. Like you I go back once or twice a year to see family and friends, but I have no desire ever to go back to live there.
