A few I remember:
Stamford Bridge: Eddie McCreadie's Blue and white army. Promotion celebration, Eddie Mac most of the players addressing the thousands of fans gathered on the pitch. Until the Old Bill steamed in on horseback.
White Hart Lane: The relegation battle. Most of the Chelsea were locked out, but I sneaked to the front of the queue. Inside the ground it was jam-packed solid, and it was this that caused the crowd to spill on to the pitch. One thing I'll never forget is that video footage showing half a dozen Tottenham fans kicking f**k out of a single Chelsea fan was repeatedly used as evidence that Chelsea fans were the instigators. "They" didn't like us then, they don't like us now. f**k 'em all.
The Vetch: Smaller ground, thousands of Chelsea inside, again jam packed solid, dangerously so because at that time the fences were up. Eventually the Old Bill realised that the fans pushing at the gates, trying to clear breathing spaces, weren't actually bloody hooligans, and opened the gates, allowing us first on to the pitch and then escorting a load of us to a terrace on one side of the ground.
Orient: That time the barrier collapsed. As noted elsewhere, the Orient chairman tried to blame Chelsea fans, even going so far as to invent stories of phone calls from Chelsea fans threatening to tear the ground apart.
The old Wembley. Nothing to do with football this time, the London Rock & Roll show, 1972, with acts including Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Bill Haley, and Chuck Berry closing the show. Screaming Lord Sutch was there complete with the Downing Street Nudes, naked hippy birds dancing on the pitch, Gary Glitter got battered - great day out.
I've got a feeling there might have been a few more, but my memory seriously isn't what it was.
