I read an article about this the other day and apparently he is not a popular boy in the league for this trick. Not because peopel think it is illegal but because defenders see it as taking the piss.

I remember there was a goalkeeper who publically threatened to break robinho's legs a few years ago- people have that misconception of the brazilian and argie leagues- but they can often be quite violent.

stupid showboaters...

denilson was one, djalminha was great to watch... remember kanchelskis? did that stupid twirly jump. joe cole at west ham regularly pulled off ridiculous (and entertaining) tricks. if people think he's reverted to that they should try and get some footage of what he used to do. also lee trundle in the lower leagues.

 
The second guy in yellow who chops him down has just received a massive ban.
