How would you raid Manchester City?

[evissy]

You're probably right, but it's a shame, because I think once he is back to his best, he could have taken Willian's place in squad.

Yes we need someone people love to bash on every turn... Sane is a pretty quick player and probably miles away from his full potential. Is he injuryprone?

David Silva as payback for the Lampard debacle.

[Gol15]

Not based on his Man C performances.

Well if they do have a better LB then he's the one for me.

KDB, Sane and Laporte would be my top 3.

Jesus, Foden, Mahrez and Bernardo Silva maybe the next crop

Completely agree Scott. Players rebound well from injuries these days and Sane is class. If there’s any sort of exodus from City, we should be all over him.

City is expected to be out of CL for 2 seasons. DeBruyne already stated he is waiting for the CAS decision on their appeal before making any desicions about his future. He also said 2 seasons is a long time.

So this leads to my question. How would you raid City's squad? Especially older players with no CL glory could be interested to move such as DeBruyne himself.

Not sure any of the City players fit into the clubs thinking now, apart from maybe Foden, all the others have won the prem, so motivation won't be the same, compared to our young hungry squad,  City players will be motivated for champs league, but with the greatest will in the world, we won't be competing for that in the near future, so no thankyou to any of them.

Why is nobody mentioning Sterling? If he becomes available, I'd go all out for him. Laporte, KdB and B. Silva are good shouts as well.

He was rather unpopular at the bridge within the recent past.

I know he wasn't our fan's favourite player, but I didn't realize there was such a dislike towards him. He f**ked Liverpool over and the media hated it, but I don't see how that's a negative with our fan base. Also he's one of the top 5 wingers in the world, still rather young, english and seems to have evolved into a leader who often seems to come up with important goals. I'd bite City's hand off if he becomes available.
