I think the fact that Poch went ahead and added height to the team only to still concede the same goal all season (set pieces/second ball) whilst also initially being against the idea of bringing in a set piece coach is a bigger joke.

Exactly. When the system makes even 6'4'' Badiashile look poor in the air you know there's something bigger at play. We could play Herve f**king Villechaise in defence - wouldn't make a blind bit of difference if the players are leaving their man free.

 
Another being sold for financial reasons, never given a chance at LB under the clown, now according to reports MAN CITY are coming in for him, another Ake cockup

 
There's talk of him having clause but is that for Dortmund or for all clubs?

He's likely gone but we could probably get more than 35 if Man City are interested.

All clubs. It would be a option to buy had it been specifically for Dortmund. 

 
Poch just doesn’t fancy him at LB with his height I guess.. 

 
While his team mates scrap to make it to Europa/conference league, Ian is asking a key part for Dortmund and is a CL finalist, one game away from being in a winner.

Congrats Ian Maatsen for making it into the final. This may be unpopular but I think we should sell chillwell and make cucurella our number 1 LB with maatsen being our number 2 but again it doesnt look like its going to happen as todd boehly is going to sell maatsen

Why would Maatsen want to play for us. We loaned him to Burnley and he won automatic promotion to the PL with them. He then comes back here and starts to have an influential pre season with Poch, playing in numerous positions and getting a few goals and assists. Poch then decides to play him as a RW as well as dropping him to the bench regularly. We then faff around with him, trying to sell him due to the stalling of his contract negotiations. Eventually we extend his contract and loan him out for the season to Dortmund making it clear that we will accept an option to buy.

Then he reaches a CL final and Chelsea will um and ah whether to keep him or sell him. I kind of agree with his dad to be honest, basically letting Chelsea know that they can do one.

Why did Chelsea extend his contract if they are just going to push him around? When I heard that they extended his contract I thought he was part of chelsea's future plans. I agree with him leaving he can do much better else where.

The idea that Maatsen couldn’t do the job cucu has been doing recently is risible. More likely he was a target sale from day 1 of the season and not used so he could avoid getting injured.

He had to agree a new contract for us to allow the loan move, is why it was for just one year extra. To protect his Value.

Agreed. Dortmund might not be able to afford his 35mill release deal but someone will, likely Bayern to replace Davies.

 
I am confused with Cucu vs Maatsen. Maatsen best quality is on the offensive end. He shoud have taken. Mudyrk n madueke minutes.
