Ridiculous comment, only way anyone gets in over Reece is if he gets injured. Not sure James will be ahead of him (my opinion) for very long, his potential is ridiculous.

As a midfielder? I have my concerns over that given his durability and tactical awareness.Heard it speculated could lead to Reece playing further forward.
To go from 17mill to 35mill is way to big a jump to make.Breaking : Chelsea’s first offer for Gusto was £17m, new offer coming between £26-£35m, Gusto was guaranteed playing time, discussions ongoing
Lyon are still fighting to have him back on loan for 6 months

Runours popping up United want him and would let him stay there until the summer, probably made by Lyon as it suits them.Reading now that it is likely that he will stay there on loan. Hmm will we ever see him anyway then.
Yeah Lyon arranging cover could be the hold up and we are in no rush with a free weekend. I reckon you are right and the basics of the deal is agreed already.Feel like this one gets done for around £30m maybe £40m with add ons as I mentioned yesterday. Lyon were hoping we could loan him back to them until the summer, but that doesn't help us right now.
Being reported we won't entertain this and only want an outright purchase with him joining up in the winter window.
Lyon apparently looking at a replacement RBs, supposedly the main target is a player Arsenal are monitoring, and they will look to pip them for him (which is all the better for us).
It's not the whole truth to say that we let Tariq go. He refused to extend and gave us no choice.Ironically, Lamptey is being linked with going to Lyon as possible replacement for Gusto if he comes to us. Ironic as Lamptey is a player who came through our academy and had many fans questioning why we let him go as he was a real livewire when he burst on to scene for Brighton. This season, I think he has managed 1 league start which is really strange. Seemed to have fallen out of favour under Potter and now Zerbi too.
Yes, exactly. It would irritate me when pundits alike and our own fans criticised us for letting him go when they did not comprehend he had half a year left on his contract. We would have lost him on a free. We played Brighton last season and both games was 1-1. In both games, all commentators kept saying was "how Chelsea must regret selling him". Just utter tosh. Ironically now, he probably would have got more chances here if he stayed. It's not the whole truth to say that we let Tariq go. He refused to extend and gave us no choice.
