Ok I am not waiting to post this after today's  news.

A gif for their stadium and for our abysmal record there.

And now they get a new manager bounce to boot!

Sancho is not able to play, as he is on loan, buy obligation does not enable him to play against them this season.

Not sure who should play out of Fofana and Tosin, and I guess we see if any of Nkunku, Jorgensen, Felix or Mudryk do enough in midweek to put themselves in the equation. At the mo I think we will, and should, go for:

Sanchez

James

Fofana

Colwill

Cucurella

Caicedo

Lavia

Madueke

Palmer

Neto

Jackson

Gives this is OT I can see some Sanchez errors costing us.

Just our bloody luck, they are bound to get a bounce... bo**ocks!

Mind you, we are playing well so who knows..?.

Of course we play them just as they've sacked Ten Hag.

Worried about a bounce now.

Typical Chelsea timing.  Let's just pile on the misery and get a result.

Can't see us losing even with new manager bounce. Even if ETH was still there, this game has draw written all over it. 2-2

If our defense wasn't so sus, I'd have bet on us to win this game.

It's probably a good thing to be honest, we saw how Mount coming on against us last season geed up our crowd whom were almost accepting the loss prior to that.

They'll be more up for it than usual due to Ten Hag going and whoever is in the dugout (RVN due to being a club legend or Amorim due to being the new guy), last thing we need is to give them another reason to find their voice.

First game this season I am dreading.

Pool and City were favorites so had qe got anything off them would have been a bonus.

We should do United, they are in a mess, but just a horrible feeling ahead of this one.

Reports he'll already be managing the club by our match on Sunday...

Christ the scripts already been written.

yes BUT he still hasn't been confirmed yet, even if he does take over, its doubtful that he will have any time to work with them

"So Ruben, a 4-0 loss in your first home league game ... how are you feeling now about the challenge ahead ? Do you wish you'd stayed at Sporting ? "

Lol.

Or

"So Ruben, a hard fought 3-1 win against a Chelsea side who have been full of attacking flair this season, shutting down Cole Palmer and a debut win at OT. What does this fresh start mean for you and the team"

Sporting have confirmed United have submitted an offer that fully meets the release clause.

Amorim is in charge of their cup match tonight, his last game before jetting off to complete the move to United.

Looks like he will be in charge to face us and probably will have Thursday, Friday and Saturday Saturday training.

You need a name change axman

Still time for Antony Taylor to be named ref for Sunday and for us to sell Palmer.

First goal will be crucial. Our pace against a very slow Utd defence makes me think we can win this if Sanchez screws the nut.

Can see a sending off in this one.
