IMO being the Serie A winner with Juventus isn't an accomplishment, he walked in a team that already had the league title as a given. For him personally it's great but Juventus wanted to play fast and to finally win the CL again so no wonder they had been unhappy with Sarri, he doesn't use key players right he treats everyone as a default player for his tactic, he did the same with our squad it didn't matter what individual quality someone had but only what role in his tactic they should play.

In my edited post, he needs to go to a challenging Spanish club and be given time. Like at Napoli he has the ability to create something special.

i agree with most of your post apart from the highlighted..  It is also some people in the media keep saying too that Chelsea finishing 4th is no big achievement since its the same squad with Sarri had and finished 3rd with only Eden the difference.. but the fact is players who have played the most this season were not coached by Sarri-

Mount, Tomori, Pulisic, Abraham, Reece - all first team players who have featured heavily weren't part of the setup under Sarri. you can also make a case for Ross, CHO, Giroud who played only cup games. So i think giving much credit to Sarri on this is very benevolent.

But managers don't get time anymore, even if they win trophies! Sarri is a "project" manager and unfortunately Chelsea and Juventus are not right for that. 

No idea where he goes next. I'd like to see him at a club like Betis, Sevilla or Valencia where the expectations are lower but he could really create something.

He was making a new project with our squad and we're still in this project of making a new team so IMO we were a good fit for developing a new tactic and young players. It was after all his decision to take the offer of Juventus.

He is obviously not suited for a big team, he doesn't focus on his star players and their strenghts, he is very rigid with his tactics.

 
Feel a bit bad for him to be honest, seemed like a genuinely good person.  Leaving Napoli was probably the worst decision of his life!

Well at least he managed stronger teams and won 2 major trophies as a result, having never won anything previously. Maybe Napoli were building into a trophy winning team but the bubble was going to burst anyway and big clubs would come in and snatch their players. If we didn't buy Jorginho then City would have.

 
Best of luck to him. Seems a genuinely nice bloke. Hopefully he finds a good new challange.

Is clear Juve want the CL. After so many years of league titles it appears to be their focus. They are becoming more like PSG.

 
Shame for him really, he finally wins a league and just like that he's off. The writing was on the wall though as the fans and media really disliked his management at Juve. 

On the bright side its another pay off and he will have a good amount now to do what he likes. 

A top job isn't for him, an underdog seems his bread and butter. 

 
Just thought I'd pop back and reminisce about that time I was called "mental" and "a whopper" of a "WUM" among other insults by multiple posters for saying this guy won't be teaching Eden Hazard how to be a decent attacker.

For some reason that popped into my head today.

The same hazard who had his best goal return for chelsea under Sarri? 

Sarri isn't able to play the game at a big club. He's not savvy enough. 

That's why everything good that happens whilst he manager is not his fault and everything bad is completely his. 

It's why when he takes Chelsea up to 3rd and wins the Europa league he is still labelled as some form of joke manager by idiots like you

Conte could easily replace Sarri at Juve. A couple of days ago he openly criticised Inter's board, and even said that they should look up to Juve.

Interesting to see what happens next, especially where could Sarri end up.

It was the best career-wise. He got 2 trophies in 2 seasons. That's a good return I'd say.

 
Pirlo takes over ! Kinda of funny that both Lampard and Pirlo replaces him, he must have left the spirit in the locker room pretty low both times to bring club legends back as manager.

True as well, kind of sucks for him because he was brought in both times to install a new way of playing and didnt make it past the first year despite finally winning silverewre ! In both occasion Chelsea's and Juve's squad didnt fit his system and didnt have much transfer windows to really makes it his.

 
In fairness to Sarri, this is probably one of the worst Juve teams in recent times. They are simply not good enough to realistically win the Champions League right now

I don't feel he'll have any regrets about leaving Napoli, he's won the Europa League and a League title in the last two years and has been able to manage players like Ronaldo and Hazard

The problem with "idiots like me" (and thanks for going straight to abusive, you are clearly a charmer) is that we realise that reality is complicated.

Sarri wouldn't be teaching Hazard anything he doesn't know, just like he couldn't possibly teach Ronaldo anything he doesn't already know, but I still think he's a good manager, although he was what I consider a "fundamentalist" rather than "pragmatist". Neither is right or wrong, they are just less and more effective, or appropriate, for different circumstances. No manager worth his salt was walking into Chelsea last year and identifying the problem as our best player standing in the wrong places. It was super weird that some Chelsea fans thought he would.

And oddly, at the time I was saying that Hazard probably would benefit from a more attacking coach after two years of Conte, but I was still getting called "mental" because I didn't think Sarri would be "teaching" him anything. I thought of it today. I thought the problem was clearly that Ronaldo didn't want to learn from Sarri. Had a chuckle. I wondered if things have changed here, or whether I'd get called an idiot straight off the bat. Question answered. Cheers.

TBH, I accept that what happened was that everyone was super-excited about their shiny new toy and was swinging straight off his nuts, refusing to hear any criticism. That is well past now, for most anyway.

There is a sorta mentality that means everyone is either brilliant or sh*te, and anyone who says someone isn't brilliant is saying that they are sh*te, and everyone who says someone isn't sh*te is saying they are brilliant. It's an intellectual vacuousness that you have fallen into I'm afraid. Reality is complicated.

Anyway, KTBFFH. I doubt I'll be back, so enjoy the football (even if right now isn't the best time to say that).

Well. This morning I came back to find out about who was going to play in the Bayern game and just now I’ve come back to see if anyone had any info on that disallowed goal. Posting was just because I was reminded myself why I gave up on football forums. Full of abusive loons who lack the empathy to understand others with alternate points of view in any way other than name calling. 
 

And seeing as how “being nice” has gone out the window: Hazard learned f**k all from Sarri and the only people who could possibly disagree with that at this point are appalling Sarri nuthuggers, which is a real odd thing to be.
