There were many around here that said JoW! Pedro was not a proper striker. Not a no.9. But he can poach a goal and tap them in and he can jump up and head the ball into the back of the net and he can hit them in from long range. He is a striker. He is a proper no.9.

He was. A talented lad who was too easily brushed aside. Suffered similarly in Serie A.
