History has a habit of reverting to the mean.

Take your pick.

gave it to caicedo but it was a team performance really.

Tough one this, I don’t think we were great. I didn’t think much of Palmer today, although his still my player of the season so far.

I think Sterling is massively underrated, he makes things happen for me. Nearly went for him

today though Conor ran his socks off broke up play some great passes seamed to be the only one who knew what to do against team of 9 playing a high press 😂

Jackson got the winner, and 2 more. All were well controlled finishes end of the day.

Good shout re Gallacher and to be honest, that’s the kind of thing I say about a player! 😀

Jackson did not have the best of games - but he did score a hat-trick, so he gets the vote. Hopefully this will give him much-needed confidence to covert his chances on a weekly basis.

The picks for me were Palmer, Gallagher and Silva but went for Silva as he led well from the back when other defenders were losing their heads or went missing.

Crazy that Jackson ended up with a hat-trick and fair play to him for his perseverance but he was honestly the worst player on the pitch for the majority of the game and if we had a decent attacking sub wouldn't have been on the pitch to score 1, never mind 3!

Caicedo for me, he looked to be keeping his head when all others were panicking. Do think Connor was good, but when he was tasked with dropping deeper, he was trying to force the ball too much. Similar with Raheem, but with runs instead of passes.
