I'm envisioning both Winstanley and Stewart barking like dogs at a squirrel and Alonso trying to distract them with a bone or something.

 
No doubt we have a long time interest in him but from what I've read today we aren't even looking to make a bid.

It's clearly a slow news day and Sky Sports and the like are just gearing up to say in the next day or so how "Lewis-Skelly has snubbed Chelsea to stay at champions Arsenal".

You know the season is close when Sky Sports are exaggerating stories to either elevate Arsenal or Liverpool or have sly digs at Chelsea.

This is another blatant example of SSN twisting a rumour to serve as a negative narrative against the club.

Whilst the presenter was saying last night that "Chelsea have enquired about the availability MLS. MLS has stated he only wants to stay at Arsenal" and whilst the same comment was detailed on their text feed, the pictures were all of every newspaper and in every case these were saying Arsenal offer MLS to Chelsea and Man Utd.

I have no idea why they felt the need to completely reverse the direction of this rumour fabricated by his agent. Laughable SSN again.

 
Think it’s him and his agent trying to figure out where he stands in the Arsenal team. He wasn’t getting solid minutes last season, and it’s going to get worse with the addition of Guimaraes. Common sense is to take a step down to Bournemouth, Villa type team for 2-3 seasons.

Exactly. The constant bleating on about Vinicius Jr going to Arsenal, plastered all over their website and probably that annoying bloke with the annoying voice constantly blabbering on sky sports news every 5 minutes about it. When it was clear as day from when the rumour first landed he was never going to go to Arsenal. Don't go on the website much nowadays it's just the same stories recycled and Gary Neville has turned into an even more annoying prick that he was originally.

It’s ridiculous how Sky Sports talk up certain clubs and downplay other certain clubs.

Since when does going after someone and failing, whilst being blatantly used by the player to get a better contract deserve praise??

Sky Sports News is getting worse, they now report transfer gossip like it’s a done deal.

I said it’s ridiculous I didn’t say it annoys me to the point that I want to boycott Sky Sports.

It’s just an observation I’ve posted on a forum, it’s not that deep.

I don't think it was bullsh*t.

I think it's just an example of why arsenal have never managed to sell anyone for decent money.

He's someone that today they'd be pretty happy if they could see him leave for decent money.

But they've not played the game until a stage in the window when all the suitors have already identified their squad.

We'd probably have gone in for him if we knew this was an option in April/may
