McKenna is now best priced evens on the main betting sites, with even a touch of odds on at one or two of them. As the saying goes "The bookies rarely get it wrong"
With Frank and de Zerbi lurking around out there McKenna is looking more appealing by the minute. Personally i would prefer Hoeness or Michel. Even Amorim, who is also being tipped as being back in the running although i can't see how he would have the players for 3 atb here. Actually it could be Amorim, didn't Liverpool knock him back cos his wage demands were too high, that'll right up Egbhali's alley.

The odds are based on money bet. The bookies don't decide, they react to offset the risk.

Some of you will be upset about this but the Daily Telegraph is reporting that Wayne Rooney could be on his way to take over at Plymouth Argyle. Shame isn't it.

They also claim that we have a shortlist of 4. One unnamed and the other 3 being Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna and the Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca.

Our interest in guys who are coming up from the Championship feels like bargain basement shopping to me - I really don't like these owners.  It feels as though they are treating Chelsea like an episode in Ted Lasso.

@ModRDZ at 5/1 could be a good use of your spare Pulisic monies.

Maybe McKenna to Brighton too, anyone got the odds on that?

Sky are reporting Wilcox and the guy United nicked of City spoke to McKenna last week but kept it quite so as not to distract from the cup final.

Maybe he goes there? Possible, still think Brighton is most likely.

I imagine we could suit McKenna better than United. We've got a group of young guys who could be moulded into something good. He'd have a lot of big egos to deal with at United, guys who'd definitely think they know better than him - the only potential trouble makers we've got are the penalty kids Jackson and Noni.

Not sure anymore, as everything would ride on the talks with our hierarchy and the model/structure we have, all depends on those talks. Suppose, before these lot and typical clubs will have their heart set on a top coach, and don’t allow a few red flags to disrupt the process.

BREAKING: Chelsea have narrowed down their search for Mauricio Pochettino’s successor to 4 candidates:

🔷 Kieran McKenna
🔷 Enzo Maresca
🔷 Thomas Frank
🔷 Unknown

Chelsea have dropped interest in Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness and Girona’s Michel.

My money is in that unknown being De Zerbi.

At least we aren't getting Kompnay, feels like a small win😎 I will go for Mckenna, seriously. If the owners and DOFs think this grand plan of youth will work, may as well go all in and get the youngest and coolest manager out there. I don't know much about McKenna, but if he's willing just to be a coach and follow the scripts set by the boss, then he probably deserve a go. If he's into Brighton, don't know why he wouldn't want aim a bit higher. If all  fails, at least he'd share something in common with the likes of Jose, Carlo, Conte, Tuchel etc

I hope Ruben Amorim is the mystery candidate, he's the only manager I'd want moving forward.
Amorim certainly seems to have the most robust CV from this shortlist. I am concerned whether we have the players in place to play to his formation, just at a time when players are starting to click and others are coming back from injury. Of course Amorim becomes more appealing if he can bring Gyokeres with him. Similarly to Hoeness and Guirassy, who would have been my first choice.
