Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 25th May 16:00 GMT

I was there with my Dad, unfortunately in a home stand, only tickets we could get....left just after half time when the 4th (or 5th?) went in...
I was there with my dad too. Our support was cracking in those days. But a very different time.

Listening to Radio 5 and there’s a lot of pro Forest sentiment. It’s all very much they deserve it and they’re a great club and it would fit in with Palace and Newcastle having great seasons blah blah blah.

Anyone else remember when Forest did us 7-0 up at their place in 1991?
Yep, I'd only just started my working life and I got slaughtered at work.

In the staff canteen one person distracted me while others put 7 of everything on my plate, 7 beefburgers, 7 sausages, 7 yoghurts.....it was quite impressive TBF.

I had flashbacks when Man City was 4-0 after 25 mins a few years ago - luckily they declared at 6-0.

Anxiety levels are rising.

Hoping for a strong performance and 3 points.

Lavia not starting!.. ffs. Just let Enzo go to Madrid, what on earth is gonna be happening when Santos returns then. 🤦‍♂️

HOW DO YOU KNOW?

IF HE IS LEAVING LAVIA ON THE BENCH JUST TO ACCOMMODATE ENZO THEN HES DELUDED, REFUSES TO PLAY PALMER AT RW, WE NEED OUR STRONGEST TEAM ON THE PITCH, AND THAT MEANS NOT STARTING GEORGE

We will win and secure QL qualification.

Trust me, I'm never wrong.

Well apart from that awkward box up with birth certificates on a night out with Graham Rix
See you don't get that quality of mirth on any other Chelsea forum. 😂 Can't have enough Graham Rix jokes IMO.

After the Newcastle debacle it's difficult to imagine us going to Forest and getting a win. There's no denying that this group of young players has some talented individuals among them, but lack of experience and inability to convert chances into goals has been our downfall this season.

Anything can happen, of course, and I will support the lads and hope we will prevail, but we cannot afford to go into the game with the same mentality as it was at St. James Park or last season's League Cup final. You have to start strong and not allow the crowd to intimidate you. I know, easier said than done, but if we crumble again due to pressure of having to win, then we don't deserve to play in the CL, anyway.

Nvm, been had by a predicated lineup pretending to be a leak. Hope it’s wrong.

Gonna miss this game cos i have to go to a birthday party for someone i don’t even know. Ugh.
What are you grumbling about, you lucky sod!

BTW You have agency, you're allowed to decline the invitation, you're not joined at the hip with anybody.

Got a bad feeling about this one boys… let’s hope we can get a early goal because I see this being one of them nail biting matches like man united

Every time this team has had a pressure game, they’ve bottled it. I find it hard to believe that they will come up with the goods.

Best to prepare yourselves and let the team surprise you I think.

Think we’re going to get absolutely thumped today.

Maresca has shown he’s got 0 bottle for the big games or tactical flexibility and we’ve been dire since Christmas.

Chris Wood...Good in the air. bound to isn't he ?
Him and Murillo are big threats, but milenkovic is lethal on set pieces. Even if we start both Chalobah and tosin it still eaves one of those 3 free.
