As an owner of an xbox 360 for a good 6 or so years now (my old one broke two years ago and I had to replace it with a new one), If i had the option of trading in all my current xbox games for ps3 games and swapping consoles, I would.
a) Xbox Live is quite expensive considering you get virtually the same on PS3 for free
b) Theres a lot of games exclusive to PS3 you can't get on xbox, the xbox exclusive games are mostly lame (depends on what you like though of course)
c) Most people these days are buying PS3's now that they're virtually as cheap as an xbox, but if you're interesting in playing FIFA with some friends online, it would depend on what they have
d) Graphics and general speed of the PS3 are supposed to be far superior.
That being said i've never owned one and only played on it at my friends house, and a lot of people on that thread that own both seem to prefer the xbox, so maybe they'd have more valid opinions than me.
