Pubs Reopening.

If you haven't been to one yet here's my advice, order double rounds the pub I was in you had to do it on the app and it takes time to get your order.. Wear a jacket it gets cold unless the pub has outdoor heaters the two we were in didn't although we got a table next to the telly so we could watch the game. And if your an ex smoker like me your going to have a lot of smoke coming your way which isn't great although the first pub we were in had a smoking/non smoking section. Also I would give it a miss at the weekends it's going to be packed everywhere and people will get pissed off waiting for their food and drink.

What i cant quite grasp is you have to stay seated at your table and Get table service that i understand ,then you cant go from one table to another ,which i understand fully . But all this carefull covid measures seems to fall apart once you need to go to the bog for a number 1 or 2 .or a line of charlie ? Whats set in place to controll the traffic in the bogs ?

Going to the pub tomorrow with 5 other mates and can’t wait. We have a table booked and will be well prepared with thick jackets. 

Im looking forward to smashing 7 pints and smoking a 20-pack. Rejoice, normal life is returning!

Nothing is in place to control the traffic, just people’s common sense (!), I just give folks a wide berth when walking past them, not much else you can do.

The restrictions are a complete joke. The bar round the corner from me has been very busy and many cars have parked up with three or four people getting out. A lad I work with said he and his mates booked at their local, but met up before and after at one house because two hours wasn’t enough. And these people are not of the age where they’re likely two have received any vaccination. It’ll certainly put the vaccines effectiveness in the elderly and vulnerable to the test in the coming weeks.

Maybe iam stressing far too  much on the bog issues in the pubs ,but i will watch that space . For the record iam not in no rush to Get back into any pub at the moment Even thou i miss the social aspect of it . I will sit back and see how the land lays on the pubs untill the late summer/ early autum .

saying that thou i aint half gagging for a pint .
