One of the UK's finest actors. Brilliant performances as Hans Gruber and Severus Snape. 

He died from cancer.

Well this has been a sh*tty week.

I felt 2016 was going to be a goodun, but the start sheesh. Yesterday a couple we know of, not friends but heard through the grapevine, got married, he was in the hospital bed she stood alongside. Every day is a gift.

Rickman had a brilliantly distinctive voice, really saddened to hear of his passing.
