Random Rumours

Id much prefer we dont give any of them a contract and aim to use our own youth players to cover where needed. We have several senior players to cover midfield, bringing in someone on loan for 2 or 3 games isnt worth it at all.
Teams have had injuries in the past that have left them short. This is how a lot of youngsters have got their chance.

It always seems like a good team with a proper system in place can get away with making do when missing a player. The problem I find with us in recent times is we can’t cope with this kind of scenario. Hopefully Alonso can create a system that is more than the sum of its parts.

Fabrizio Romano: “Paul Pogba has agreed personal terms with Chelsea. Agreement reached on the player side after direct contacts. “Xabi Alonso has been pushing for the move and Chelsea are now working to finalize the remaining details. Pogba is keen on the project and ready to return to the Premier League. “Talks progressing, free transfer. 🚨🔵

Will be interesting to see how this works. If he joins will he be back up for someone in midfield or will he be shoehorned into the side regardless? Hes only 33.

Monaco released him because he barely played. Missed 30+ games to injury.

Pretty sure that's just a click-bait generating facebook account. Scared me for a moment

Alaba, Brozovic, Zinchenko, Renato Sanches in that order.
Peculiar take on zinchenko. thought he's never good enough, bin by city and arsenal pretty quick.

renato is still injury prone no?

No idea with brozovic, never heard of him.

Out of that list , i think alaba could be another thiago for us but he gives the impression he's more money focus. What's the reason again he becomes free agent?

None of them.

Get the young lads on the bench. There is a reason most of that lot are without a club and if they weren’t good enough for their last club they ain’t good enough for us.

Even until January.

Roma, and their coach in particular, are said to want Jamie Gittens as well, if we can work out a deal that means they have to buy him after a loan then bringing in Kone really should be a priority.......

Once heavily linked to Barca, Inters Bastoni is apparantly an option at 80mill euros.
theres a lot of talk re Bastoni not sure if its a lot of reposts or credible links

The type of CB that elevates us to the next level imo. VVD to Liverpool level signing. Probably won't happen

I suspect if you have strong views on Mason Greenwood, you might have the same for Bastoni.

the 27-year-old received an avviso di garanzia, a formal notification under Italian law that a person is the subject of an investigation, and a procedural step rather than a charge or any finding of guilt, on Tuesday, and is expected to be questioned in the coming days. The young woman in question has already been heard by prosecutors and has insisted that no sexual relationship took place. Reports indicate that Bastoni maintains the same stance.

I don't really see the relevance as we had all the evidence at hand with Greenwood with recordings and images. There's nothing here until more comes out.

One is a woman beater that wanted to rape his partner and the other is rumours for now.

That's how the legal system works here, it means the case is being looked into.

It boils down to the pursuit of Ma.De Milano, a "sports event" company that organises luxury packages for events. Which, according to authorities, includes organising "escorts". Prostitution is legal here, organised prostitution is not. There is reference to the girl being a minor. The age of consent here is 14. She was 17. So a minor in the sense that she was under 21, all in the context of the prostitution being organised, hence illegal.

Nothing more has come of it yet.

Ah, so there is an investigation ongoing, as what happens in the UK, and most countries with a legal system, meaning innocent until proven guilty... Like Callum Hudson-Odoi... like Mason Greenwood... You can read for yourself what happened to Silvio Berlusconi when he was investigated for pretty much exactly the same type of offence as Bastoni. it will be a similar outcome for Bastoni if found guilty right? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-23034167

So you think along the lines of guilty until proven innocent, unless they play/ played or could play for Chelsea, whereby they're innocent until proven guilty.

And just becuase nothing has come from the police investigation so far, should Chelsea spend 80 million and risk the possibility of him actually being charged? not sure it makes business sense to me.

I'm not sure why you're trying to defend Greenwood when the evidence of his abuse is widely available online

Hilarious take.. Im not defending anyone but the rule of law, you know, the same laws that apply to you, me, footballers, rich and poor... Innocent until proven guilty. The same laws that allow victims anonymity, the accused a day in court. I'm so glad I live in a country that doesnt pander to lynch mob. The CPS has a higher threshold and requires more than "evidence online" and its worth pointing out that perhaps the case was dropped because other evidence existed that was stronger than the stuff the victim posted online. God forbid you ever cross the threshold into alternative lifestyles and relationships; it'll blow your tiny little mind what people get up to behind closed doors.

You're allowed to have your own morals, you don't have to look at the law to form an opinion on something.

This is what you advocate for being okay btw:
