Sadly for ours nowadays, its more likely that they are doing it rather than saying itI wish we had Prime Ministers like that now.

He is world class!People may not like to hear this but James is a big reason why our midfield is non existent.
Maybe he just has zero chemistry with Lavia but he just doesnt track any runs whatsoever and we rarely get to benefit from his passing when hes in CM so its pointless him being there.
James hasn't put in a world class performance in about 9 months now. He's actually performed well below the standards we should expect of a player that is supposedly world class. He was even sh*t for England in his preferred position. He is world class!
In a back 3 if he tracks runners we will not have a midfield .. it’s a zonal system.. if you are referring to the goal against Arsenal it was just a brilliant move - 90 out of 100 times that doesn’t come off.. also our CBs need to move as one .. how did he find a gap between our back 3 .. James is the only one in the current midfield who can hold a ball under pressure - Barco and Lavia will lose it..People may not like to hear this but James is a big reason why our midfield is non existent.

Lavia as well. They are both horrific at it. James is essentially doing the Caicedo role in the build up which I too don't think he's even that effective.People may not like to hear this but James is a big reason why our midfield is non existent.

Fully agree.People may not like to hear this but James is a big reason why our midfield is non existent.

Are you sure he is just filling in? We have 3 RBs while playing once a week, the maths doesn’t add up. Every noise from the management team since last season has been he is a midfielder. He had a lil cameo at RB for the last 15mins of the Hull game, and it wasn’t pretty. His legs are gone, and once he gets turned it becomes a problem.Fully agree.
He’s not a midfielder and the sooner we get real midfielders back the better.
How he let Odegaard run off him shows a lack of a midfielders instinct.
There was even a couple of occasions where the crowd had to warn him someone was coming from behind to pinch the ball off him on Saturday. He isn’t used to looking at the full 360 degrees around him like a natural midfielder would, he’s used to the play being in front of him as a defender.
It’s those little details that could lead to goals being conceded or passing that tiny bit quicker can lead to scoring a goal.
I know he’s filling in but he is not the long term answer and his lacking in those 2 details above.
The irony of it all is if he was in his natural position I’m convinced James wouldn’t have let the Hull player cross it in for the 1st goal like Gusto did.
That’s the problem I’m not sure at all. The noises from management isn’t encouraging. Are you sure he is just filling in? We have 3 RBs while playing once a week, the maths doesn’t add up. Minor hamstring issue according to Alonso. Probably translates to 6 months out with Reece's record sadly/Noted as hamstring injury on tv. No idea on severity.
