RIP Joey Jones

[just]

Sad news. Gone at the age of just 70.

It says so much about Joey that he was a legend at 3 clubs; Wrexham, Liverpool and Chelsea. There never was a more whole-hearted, honest player. To say he gave everything out on the pitch is an understatement.

RIP Joey.

Never seen him play but my Dad loved hm, so he must have been good. apparently he as skillful but also really got stuck in. loved a tackle.

People have messaged on the vintage section. Would be good if they could be put on here.

He was part of the first Chelsea team a really remember. Him and Doug Rougvie both put it about…..mind you back then everyone bar wee Pat got stuck in.

RIP Joey.
