my live album

i have been going to see SLF for over 20 years, and i still havent herd them recapture the level from this album

and yes I own this, the Clash, adn "never mind..." all on original vinylIncluding the sex pistol's "bollox" on the 1st day it was released with the additional single
I've been collecting different NMTB lp's ever since release date. I now have 12 (at the last count) ~ I've also got nigh on every vinyl released by the Pistols (except God Save The Queen (on A&M))

My favourite lp by far is "London Calling" which I also still play on a daily/weekly basis ~ It has everything for me. Punk, Jazzy bits, Reggae etc....

Madness are my favourite band & at the moment may I recommend "Dangermen Vol.1" if you haven't heard it & like ya Madness & old skool reggae & ska ~ You're going to love it!

Nice one mate, glad to see a punk and vinyl fan on here too. I have Anarchy when they were briefly on EMI. Also have the damned, SLF, the cortinas, the Clash, Chelsea (the punk band), and a whole host more that's not just Punk

The A&M are really hard to find, and recently they released a commemorative version which come people are trying to flog off as originals

Scott

please can i pick two ? i just cant separate my top two....
No - there is a corner with your name on it.
Grumpy. Oh well, here goes. Deep breath and my deepest apologies to Paul, Mick, Topper and Joe.

I know that I am in the minority on this one, but my favorite album is "License to Ill", by the Beastie Boys. It has stood up over the 20 years or so since it came out, and it is very, very funny to listen to.

Any album that has "White Castle" (hamburger joint in NY) in about half of its songs is a treat.

OK, that's your right1 How about David Ackles? e.g. Down River? Subway to the Country?

No Vinyl for me, far too young

but for me it's:

American_Idiot-Green_Day_480.jpg

From start to finish it tells a story, a "rock opera" if you will. All members get a go at writing the lyrics and singing the words. After 4 or so years of split rumours, they came back with their biggest selling album to date. Their two 9 minutes songs was a risk, but they make the album unique and memorable.

So yep - Green Day: American Idiot for me.

honestly, I first came in to say pink floyd's the wall but loz did it, and with a lovely picture. was a disappointing moment.

Too many quality albums to choose just one but this ranks as one of my all time best albums....

Also, this was very hard for me. My other choice would have been Quadrophenia by the Who
