Quiz night in my local pub later. Lots of Christmas jumpers decorations on display. I'm in a team with another Chelsea supporter, a couple of Crystal Palace fans and a Millwall supporter.

A few pints will be consumed.

 
I’m starting a new Christmas tradition this year of staying home with cat because the usual plan involves way too many loud people & dogs scuttling around the place and I’m fed up being overwhelmed & shutting down for hours at a time. Merry Christmas!

I do that for the New Year's. Doing my own thing feels very snug and nice.

That's the brandy butter made. My family have often said that I put too much brandy in the mix but how is that possible. The crime would be to use too little.

I was surprised when I was told that especially when some members of my family drink or drank more than me!

The recipe I use suggests a certain amount of alcohol but I always put in more.

As for the big day itself I shall be drinking real ale, red and white wine, single malt whisky and port. Not in the same glass I should add.
