U21 European Championships

[All Barco no bite]

Noticed there was nowhere to talk about this.

Last night we had Tammy, JCS (c), Tomori, J. Da Silva and Mount all featuring for England against France.

Ex-Chelsea Solanke played his part too.

Caught a bit of the game and Solanke didn't look great. Was surprised he made starting line-up ahead of Abraham and Calvert-Lewin.

Sounds like we were unlucky conceding two late goals when down to 10 men, although France did miss two penalties.

We need someone to convert the chances though.

No idea how Solanke keeps playing for England U21, he's done nothing since his move away.

Solanke was terrible, ruined several great attacking plays with poor touches or passes, I'll be very surprised if he starts the next game. Da silva did pretty well, tomori looked really good alongside salter.

I remember people talking this guy up like we were losing something special before he left.......well he's done bugger all so far. He's living off that youth career he had with us still. 21 years old and only 8 goals in 61 senior starts. Maybe he should have done what Abraham has done and went on loan to a Championship team first.

Tomori, Clarke-Salter, Dasilva and Mount all starting for England U-21s right now

Hasn't worked out too well ... lost 2-4 and pretty much out of the Championships now. All the goals in the last 15 minutes or so ... Tammy got one of ours after coming on as a late sub for Dasilva, after the first Romanian goal.

Not great for Clarke-Salter and Tomori to be at the centre of a defence shipping 4 goals ... and one of them was down to a Tomori mistake unfortunately.

Hopefully they learn from it !
