No he hasn't. He is having his moment in the sun. He has been cr@p throughout his brief managerial career including spouting classroom textbook bollox as a Championship pundit before getting the Hull job.
He was absolutely brilliant at Derby and their fans were upset he didn't stay longer.

Took over Hull following a 19th place finish and took them to a 7th place finish. Guess where they are this year without him... 20th...

Do you lie on purpose or do you honestly believe what you type? Both equally as worrying.

We’ve got to start being honest with ourselves, even if Ancelotti is available, he isn’t coming to us. We are no longer that elite club with the pull potential.

Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG, City, Liverpool are all miles ahead of us.

We’re more like Arsenal, Atletico, Dortmund levels currently.

We aren’t going to appoint an elite manager, we don’t have the pull and the club doesn’t want to go in that direction as it’s shown with all its appointments, they’ve either been that level below (Poch) or an up and comer with boom or bust potential (Baldy & Potter)

Rosenior ticks all the boxes, played exciting flowing football at all 3 teams (Derby, Hull & Stasbourg), developed players wherever he’s been, isn’t a huge name/ego, bags of potential.

I would happily see him in charge next season or McKenna (who I don’t think will leave Ipswich)

Whatever the outcome it cannot be this possession recycling anti football negative nelly we have at the moment.

This here is the crux of the issue. If the board is sticking to its current approach of having young inexperienced players and wanting to implement possession based football, then I don't want us to change managers or even sign new players. We have to make due with what we have as we have already spent way too much money on this approach.

Now if they were to say that they're willing to deviate from this plan, then it's a whole different story.

Nothing wrong with possession based football. But plenty wrong in the lazy way our managers seem to implement it.

Rather than move the ball progressively at pace, our managers all seem to think it's fine for the cb's to knock it around between themselves for hours at a time.

Do I lie on purpose? What are you, 8?

I was going to have a conversation with you as I happen to have a different opinion than you have, but if, like I have seen with other posts of yours, your immediate response is to insult anyone that has a different opinion to you I'm not going to bother, cretin.

He's going to take his ball home with him as well !

So, in short: "yes i don't have a clue what i'm writing about so i'm going to duck out of this conversation."

Have a lovely day.

I agree with those that have said we're not going to be able to pick from the elite anymore.

Honestly Lampard would be an improvement over Maresca. He gets a bad rap because of the Everton stint (though let's be honest, that club is a mess). He did well with Derby, did well with us, and is doing well with Coventry. He gets his sides to play attacking football and his players seem to love him.

Ill ignore his second stint with us because the squad was so out of shape and unmotivated all he could do was try and get fitness back to a workable level before pre-season, which he did decently enough at.

I'm not saying he's the best option out there, but I had fun watching us when he was in charge, and I don't have much fun watching us these days.

Although it would be more entertaining, i wouldn't want to see Lamps back here unless we signed some experience in defense.

If we could sign a veteran CB i'd be much happier with him than Maresca.

Surprised at Iraola's popularity

If doing well with a traditionally mid table team is the measure of success, surely Nuno would make far more sense?

I don’t even know who’s out there we can indefinitely say, that’s the guy.

Ancelotti won’t step foot here with these co-directors.

The owners have got the perfect manager for them, nothing is going to change.

Maresca will say that players the owners want to sell don't fit into his system ...

He will send good players to train with the youth squad. He will pretend that he actually wanted players we have bought, he won't protest when those players are sent on loan or offered for sale.. . . Maresca is happy to not have pressure to finish top 4, he's happy to announce that we are NOT possible title contenders when we are 2nd in the table.

He's the perfect man to front BlueCo
